Hi,

My name is Scooter.  I was found outside when I was less than a week old.  My foster mom wasn't sure if I was going to make it.  I was sooo tiny and I didn't want to eat.  But I was stronger than I looked and once I got a bit stronger I decided I really really liked to eat.

Now I'm a big girl and ready to find my new fur-ever home.  I have several foster siblings - Gary, Rowan, Zack & Zeke.  We are all great friends and I'd just love to be adopted with one of my foster siblings.

I LOVE running around, chasing toys and wrestling with my foster siblings.  I can climb the cat tree SUPER fast and love going up/down/up/down the cat tree.   I love when my foster mom massages my scruff and I purr so that she knows.

I'm a pro at using my litter box and cardboard scratchers.

I'm good with respectful dogs (I need some time to warm up to new dogs) and calm, older children.

I was recently diagnosed with kidney disease.  Currently I am considered Stage 2, though this could potentially go down to Stage 1 now that I'm on special food.  In August the vet will redo bloodwork to monitor my kidney function.   The vet said my rough start in life could be the reason for the early onset of kidney disease.  I need to be on a special diet for the rest of my life. 

My adoption fee is $50.  If I am adopted with another cat from the rescue, the second cat is only $25.  I would love to be adopted with Gary, however, it isn't required.
